Tan Jingwang, chief physician, postdoctoral fellow in Western medicine and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is an innovative front-line clinical expert and the proud disciple of Academician Wu Mengchao, an international expert in hepatobiliary surgery. He once served as the director of hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and oncology surgery at the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital (formerly Beijing 301 Hospital). He has participated in a number of provincial and ministerial-level research on major scientific and technological projects such as late-stage tumors and liver transplantation. He has authored nearly 30 medical books and published more than 150 papers in Chinese and English.
